Whereas once Britain led the way in the conception, design and manufacture of all things audio-related, our soggy little island feels increasingly dwarfed by the might of the economic superpowers in this ever-globalised, ever-homogenised world.

  4. Jul 10, 2012 · Now, I am a real fan of British hifi, but for example the country I am from ( Holland )they also make excellent stuff. Some names: Siltech, Van Medevoort, Audiostatic, Van den Hul, Karma etc. etc. And of course the same goes for German and American hifi .
