Don't expect anything on the same level as the two films, otherwise you're setting yourself up for disappointment. I didn't, and because of that, I still found Black Lotus entertaining. The story is solid enough, the voice actors (including the always awesome Jessica Henwick) were good, and the animation was serviceable.

Don't expect too much. rubenhem 14 April 2023. Black Lotus is a film that tries to capture the essence of a Hollywood action flick, but unfortunately falls short of the mark. The film begins with a Dutch cast speaking English, some with strong accents and others with none at all, making for an awkward and uneven start.
