Badalona Beach is probably better than the Barcelona Beach considering that it is just 20 mins by the train and 25 mins by metro. The train leaves you right in front of the beach while the Badalona metro is a 7-8 mins walk to the beach.

A lovely beach with good sand cover and perfect calm water. Warning, there are no waves as it's the Mediterranean Sea and extremely calm. Not suited for surfing but incredible for swimming and familiars. It's more like a big lake with an occasional ripple.
