Abyss has some really good character moments all round, TBH, but I can't call it a favourite because not liking those characters makes them all a hard sell. And, story-wise, I prefer the more classic fantasy settings.
Nov 2, 2020 · An excellent game that stays deep beneath the current popularity scale. When many gamers of a certain age (i.e. mine) hear or read the word "Abyss" in the context of a game, the first image that comes to mind is the map of planes of existence from the old AD&D Dungeon Master's Guide.

Jul 1, 2022 · How To Play Abyss. Hannah Blacknell. Abyss is perhaps the most beautiful game that I own. It is a set collection game of underwater politics, bribery and corruption. The artwork is dark and moody backgrounds with popping bright colours. I absolutely love it, it is one of my favourite games to photograph in fact.
Abyss is a game of development, combination and collection in which players try to take control of strategic locations in an underwater city. To achieve this, players must develop on three levels: first by collecting allies, then using them to recruit Lords of the Abyss, who will then grant access to different parts of the city.
