   • The nonsensical time travel in 12 Monkeys makes it less watchable than its original source material, but the high quality execution and cool characters are top-notch. The biggest problem with the storytelling is that it is tremendously slow-paced, as though they're worried that there's not going to be enough plot for all six episodes.

   • Season 5 was a carry on from "letters of transit" which was wild and season 5 did have some great ideas, but like season 4 they shot themselves in the foot with some terrible ideas. The one thing that the writers of 12 Monkeys talk about is never forgetting about the character drama.

   I don't understand why 12 monkeys show is really underrated. The quality just keeps on increasing including small details. In my opinion, Season 1 is pretty much okay because there are some ups and downs but the rest are absolutely amazing.

   I base my favoritism on how often I rewatch a show and that also depends on how long the show ran for...lol. I've seen "12 Monkeys" at least 7 or 8 times, "Timeless" about the same. I've watched Supernatural at least 5 or 6 times through, but that's 15 seasons. With the Stargate shows, I've watched the entire franchise more than 5 times.
