  3. South Korea’s Thirst is an excellent movie about a good man trying his best not to become a monster but instead creating an even worse one. Both Kang ho-song and Ok-bin Kim are simply marvelous as two damaged individuals falling in love and then destroying everything around them.

  5. I watched Thirst last weekend and really liked it! I think it is a very good blend of all the ingredients that make Park Chan-Wook such an interesting filmmaker. And maybe I am completely wrong, but I think that the rape scene is not actually a rape.

Thirst is a rollicking vampire-serial-killer-noir romantic thriller guarded by moral and religious beliefs.
