Nov 22, 2013 · Word comes via WhatCulture that the Die Hard franchise might well use this tactic for its sixth outing. But, as Die Hardest script writer Ben Trebilcook explains, sending John McClane to Japan doesn't require as much of a narrative leap as you may fear.
Now Total Film reports Ben Trebilcook is writing a treatment for a sequel that is tentatively called Die Hardest and will send John McClane to Tokyo, which sounds like a spec he wrote a little while back. Trebilcook actually turned in a script for Die Hard 4 on spec, but Fox never used it.
