Zabriskie Point / z ə ˈ b r ɪ s k i / is a 1970 American drama movie directed by Michelangelo Antonioni and starring Mark Frechette, Daria Halprin, and Rod Taylor. It was widely noted at the time for its setting in the counterculture of the United States.
But in “Zabriskie Point” we get kids who fall in love and act like kids (running up and down sand dunes, etc.) and the sight is even more depressing than adults doing it. He has tried to make a serious movie and hasn’t even achieved a beach-party level of insight.
