Funky Monkey is a 2004 family comedy film starring Matthew Modine, Seth Adkins and Roma Downey. It is written by Lance Kinsey and Peter Nelson. It is directed by Harry Basil. The plot centers around boy genius, Michael Dean (Adkins), who teams up with a super-talented chimpanzee and his caretaker (Modine) to take down an animal testing lab.
Everything about the movie is very unrealistic and childish. It's a good movie to entertain young kids, who don't realize quality difference in movies yet. To summaries, Funky Monkey is a cheap film about a fighting monkey, his fighting companion and of course a boy. 2 out of 4 found this helpful.

This movie goes so hard. A pro stunt-man trains a monke to be even better at violence, but then realizes that his employers wanted him to do so for unethical reasons. To stop their master plan of getting the government to pay for a monke military, he takes the monke on the run and shenanigans ensue.
