From France, take the N-22 road, crossing the border at Pas de la Casa, first access to Grandvalira from France. Another option is to take the Envalira tunnel, which will leave you close to the Grau Roig access.

All you need is your Grandvalira lift pass, and you'll find the park in the Peretol area just between Grau Roig and Soldeu near Bordes d'Envalira. If you don't have your own transport you can take the service bus from next to the church.

The Piso beginner's area, at the Funicamp mid-station, and Pessons at Grau Roig are ideal places for the first few days on skis. Green runs make up 25% of the overall skiing area.
There is a wide variety of blue runs, ideal for intermediates, as well as many reds for progression.
There are more than a dozen black runs, including the challenging Fis Taupes and the tree-lined Granota on the Grau side. There are 2 slalom stadiums at the Costa Rodona. There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

There are two areas for beginners and there are plenty of gentle slopes in the main area to progress to. Snowboarding is popular with the young crowd that Pas de la Casa attracts, and there is a small, lift-served board-park and half-pipe on the Grau Roig side of the mountain.
