- Wanderers of the Desert (1984) Director: Nacer Khemir. The first of Tunisian director Nacer Khemir’s ‘desert trilogy’, which also includes The Dove’s Lost Necklace (1991) and Bab’Aziz: The Prince Who Contemplated His Soul (2005), Wanderers of the Desert is based on a Sufi poem.
