   How reliable is the Rome2rio app?

   • Will be going to Italy next month and inquiring how reliable is the rome2rio app to check and make train reservations (always non-first class) versus the Trenitalia app. Rome2rio seems much easier to read. Thanks for any feedback /recommendations. Rome2Rio is great for initial trip planning but it's not always accurate.

   • I use rome2rio for options, but I tend to find their price estimates low. Instead, I use www.seat61.com and have found their prices for routes to be very accurate (I book last minute too so you may do better if you book ahead). I personally find that website very confusing, and quite inaccurate. I haven't actually used it to book anything, however.

   How much does Rome2rio cost?

   • Looking at rome2rio those same train riders will cost me about 250 dollars total. Should I just wing it and depend on rome2rio to get me through. Seems like you can buy the tickets directly there as well... Is it fairly accurate to at least show what options are available (train routes, flights, etc) without regard to pricing?
