The Sandlot 2 (also known as The Sandlot 2: The Sandlot Continues and The Sandlot Kids 2 in some territories) is a 2005 American sports comedy film directed and narrated by David Mickey Evans. It is the second film in The Sandlot franchise and a direct-to-DVD sequel to The Sandlot (1993).
THE SANDLOT 2 returns to the popular neighborhood playing field of The Sandlot and features a gang of boys led by David (Max Lloyd Jones) and rival gang of girls, led by the "liberated" Hayley (Samantha Burton).

A decade has passed since nine baseball-playing kids faced the mighty "Beast" in The Sandlot. Director David M. Evans reprises his role as the narrator of this sequel, this time as Johnnie Smalls (James Willson), the younger half-brother of Scotty from the first film.
A direct-to-video sequel entitled The Sandlot 2 was released in 2005 in which a new Sandlot gang is featured. The only returning cast member is James Earl Jones as Mr. Mertle. Evans also returned to direct the sequel and voiced Smalls' younger brother, Johnnie.
