KIPP ATL educates more than 5,300 scholars across 11 schools. KIPP Atlanta Schools is a network of free public charter and partner schools located in the city of Atlanta and East Point. At KIPP, we believe every child should group up free to create the future they want for themselves and their community.
In 2003, KIPP ATL opened the doors to three middle schools serving a combined 300 scholars. Today, we have grown to 11 schools educating over 5,300 scholars and we plan to continue growing until we are 13 schools educating 7,000 scholars.
KIPP Atlanta Schools is part of a national network of public charter schools that has a 26-year track record of preparing students for success in college and life. There are 255 KIPP schools in 50 communities across the country educating more than 100,000 students.
