Many rare resources will naturally generate over time with certain conditions, which can be exploited by the player to safely obtain large quantities of them with less time and risk than normal exploration.
Farming is the intentional creation of resources to be collected repeatedly over time. Many kinds of farming involve planting Seeds to grow grass, trees, or flowers, though some kinds of farming such as Crystal Shard or statue farming do not involve seeds.
All 3862 obtainable items collected. Here's the final result after 506 hours and 34 large worlds. Technically the Carrot isn't unobtainable, but without owning the collector's edition or trading with someone that does, I'll count it as such. Also, unsurprisingly, I do not recommend doing this.
