Dec 8, 2021 · Town Manager Mark Ells said Barnstable is considering a level-service budget for FY 23. The council voted on Dec. 2 to keep the current 20% residential tax exemption in place for the coming year. Finance Director Mark Milne said the town's FY 22 property tax rate is $136 million, and the General Fund Reserves balance was last certified at $24.4 million as of July 1.
