Apr 27, 2020 · Not sure if I’m right, but I think Viki English subbers tend to be quite faithful in following the sentence order of the Original languages and they try to fit in as much as possible, because all other languages are relying on the English subs.
Viki’s programming — which largely comes from China, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan — is subtitled and translated into over 150 languages by a team of crowdsourced viewers. These community subtitlers can also interact online to contribute to the Viki community and provide comments throughout shows that guide subscribers’ viewing.

As a start, we will support Learn Mode for shows in Korean and Chinese language, with plans to support other languages in the future.
