The school fosters academic excellence with an accomplished faculty. There are 77 full-time teaching faculty with an average of 21 years of teaching experience; 48 of the 77 hold advanced degrees. Our rigorous curriculum consists of 194 courses, including advanced-level courses in each department.
So students explore each subject in greater depth and spend more time with their teachers. Students take three major courses each semester - six per year, which is one more than at schools with traditional schedules. NMH is a coed boarding school serving 650 students in grades 9-12. We also offer a postgraduate year.
