Bursaries provide financial assistance with school fees. Whilst the majority of bursaries are offered on entry to Year 7 (11+), we also award bursaries to boys joining in Years 3 (7+), 4 (8+), 5 (9+), 9 (13+) and 12 (16+).

In 2023/24 214 means-tested bursaries were awarded, of which 167 were worth 75% or more of the standard school fees. The income distribution of the Estate is used exclusively for bursaries and has funded 111 College bursaries this year.
Over 200 pupils at Dulwich have free or subsidised places, also known as bursaries, the majority of which are for between 75% and 100% of fees. Bursaries at Year 7 and Year 9 include funding for academic trips, coaches, uniform and lunch.

Sep 16, 2020 · Bursaries, which are dependent on individual financial circumstances, can cover up to 100% of school fees for pupils at ages 11+ and 16+ for Alleyn’s and JAGS, and at Junior School, 11+, 13+ and 16+ for Dulwich College.
