    • Saleccia Beach. Let’s start this guide of Northern Corsica’s best beaches with Saleccia. Saleccia beach is often ranked among Corsica’s best beaches, and is also renowned all over the world.
    • Lotu Beach. Lotu beach is another beautiful beach you can discover in the Agriates Desert. This beach is smaller than Saleccia, but just as pretty with its white sand and translucent waters.
    • Ostriconi Beach. Ostriconi beach is another great beach to discover during your road trip in Northern Corsica. It’s located at the mouth of the Ostriconi river, between Saint-Florent and Calvi and close to the seaside resort of Ile-Rousse.
    • Nonza Beach. Let’s move further North, on the West Coast of Cap Corse, to discover a completely different atmosphere at Nonza beach. This black pebble beach is located below the village of Nonza.

    • Arone. Set just south of the Calanques de Piana Unesco World Heritage Site, Arone is a lovely family friendly beach with easy access from the car park and a very gently sloping sea-bed, so the water is warm and shallow quite far out.
    • Calvi (aka La Pinède) Calvi beach has an urban vibe, particularly during the week-long Calvi on the Rocks music festival held in early July when young Corsicans and tourists sway and pose in fashionable swim-wear on the beach and in the shallow sea water, often with a cool glass of something in hand, to the sounds of electro-dance music from 3pm until 4am daily.
    • Beach of Ostriconi. Most beautiful beach of High Corsica. The beach of Ostriconi is located at the southern limit of the Agriates desert between L’Ile-Rousse and Saint-Florent.
    • Beach of Palombaggia. Most beautiful beach of South Corsica. Not far from Porto-Vecchio in the area I call ‘the beach paradise’. Palombaggia is the most famous of all the beaches of Corsica because it has often been classified as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
    • Beach of Saleccia. One of the most beautiful beaches of North Corsica. On the coast of the Agriates desert, south of Saint-Florent. The beach of Saleccia is isolated without constructions, pure white sand, sand dunes, sparkling turquoise water and a pine forest at the back.
    • Beach of Tamaricciu. South Corsica Beach. Not far from Porto-Vecchio, in the continuity of the beach of Palombaggia. Like Palombaggia, the beach of Tamaricciu is a long stretch of white sand, turquoise water and pine trees.
