RoboCop 2 is a 1990 cyberpunk action film directed by Irvin Kershner and starring Peter Weller, Nancy Allen, Dan O'Herlihy, Belinda Bauer, Tom Noonan and Gabriel Damon. It is the sequel to the 1987 film, and pits RoboCop against another cyborg created with the intention of replacing him.

They've written the script for a direct sequel to Robocop '87, called Robocop Returns. Though production on the film has been delayed because of COVID-19 (and attached to a new director, after Blomkamp dropped out), it is still - as far as I know - happening, and I'm excited for it.

The original 1987 Robocop is a classic, not only for the action but for the underlying satirical elements. I haven’t seen the two sequels and the 2014 remake, but from what I’ve heard, they don’t hold a candle to the 1987 original. With that said, are they still worth watching? I also know there are Robocop TV shows and cartoons.
