A Guide to U15/16s Club Football. Format. 11v11. Match Length. 40 mins each way. Children should not exceed the maximum playing time for their age in any one day. It is the responsibility of the junior club and/or the child’s parent or carer to ensure this.
Under 16 – the player must be under the age of 16 as at midnight on 31st August in the playing season. Under 17 – the player must be under the age of 17 as at midnight on 31st August in the playing season. Under 18 – the player must be under the age of 18 as at midnight on 31st August in the playing season.
To play in an Under 18 competition, a child must have attained the age of 15 as at midnight on 31 August of the relevant playing season. To play in an open age competition a child must have attained the age of 16.
