Plymouth Boat Trips has introduced a new, modern vessel to service the famous Cawsand Ferry route. The Plymouth Princess will carry passengers between Plymouth and the scenic, Cornish beaches and villages of Cawsand and Kingsand.
A lovely little boat trip to Plymouth right from beach front on Cawsand Bay. It runs every 90 mins from 9.30am and the last ferry back to the Bay from Plymouth is 4.30pm. The journey is approx 30 mins. On hot days the queue for the ferry can be very long so you have to plan ahead and get there early.
A highlight of our stay in Cawsand. The ferry picks you up from the beach in Cawsand. The trip over to Plymouth takes 30 minutes, and offers fantastic views of the Cornish coastline. You arrive at the Mayflower steps in Plymouth's historic Barbican quarter.
