Flight credits are issued by Qantas in the event of a cancelled or changed booking by the airline itself, or by the passenger.² We will distinguish some differences below.
Flight credits are not the same as a voucher and are only transferable for flight fares. Qantas does sell gift vouchers for customers to purchase as a separate product which is redeemable for domestic and international flights with the airline.²
Your Qantas credit voucher has the same booking number as your original booking. This means you’ll be able to find your flight credits through the manage booking tab on the Qantas website. If you have used a portion of your flight credits already, you should have received a new flight credit confirmation email.⁴
