IMMA Strategy. Message from the Chairperson, Ali Curran. I am pleased to present A Creative Catalyst for Change – Strategic Plan 2024-28 for the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA). This strategy comes at a particularly exciting time in IMMA’s development.
IMMA is home to the National Collection of Modern and Contemporary Art, started in 1990 and now numbering over 3,500 artworks by Irish and international artists.
The 2022 acquisition fund will support the purchase of works by generations of Irish and international artists formerly missing from the National Collection. The new acquisitions will also include multi-media works and installations that reflect recent developments in contemporary artistic practice.
