  2. Oct 18, 2023 · The Flash season 7 was the show's worst due to the loss of key cast members and a convoluted story with underwhelming special effects. Season 8 attempted to make up for the previous season's shortcomings but fell short with underused characters and a disappointing conclusion to the Reverse-Flash arc. The Flash season 9 had its moments with the ...

Following the big cliffhanger in the season one finale, the second season opens up with both ups and downs. While we get the early stages of the Multiverse concept, seeing the premiere adapt an exhausted trope by having Barry push everyone away because of Eddie’s (Rick Cosnett) death. It was a very Oliver Queen-esque thing of Barry to pull which fe...

After introducing various members of the Rogues, the fall finale for the second season gave fans an exciting team-up. The Trickster (Mark Hamill), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre) team-up to take down the Scarlet Speedster even though Snart ends up skipping it. It was genuinely fun seeing these foes coming togethe...

One of the Legends of Tomorrow missions for The Flash’ssecond season was to solve the Firestorm problem given the death of Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell.) As Martin Stein (Victor Garber) needs a new half to merge with in order to survive, “The Fury of Firestorm” rushes to take care of the problem. Jax Jackson (Franz Drameh) gets introduced as the pe...

With Barry focused on wanting to get faster than Zoom (Teddy Sears), the seventeenth episode brings back some time travel action. Seeing our hero go back in time to ask his greatest foe for help was fascinating and compelling. In addition to that, his time travel comes with a dangerous consequence as we get introduced to the concept of Time Wraiths...

The twelfth episode had too many things going on as the Wests were working on getting to know Wally while Harry Wells was betraying the team. Even though it was to save his daughter from Zoom, what he does to Barry is a lot to take in. In addition to that, “Fast Lane” introduces another familiar Flash foe from the comics when Tar Pit (Marco Grazzin...

After the endless teases, season two finally brought viewers to Earth-2 in a stellar two-parter, starting with episode thirteen. Barry, Harry, and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) travel to Earth-2 to save Harry’s daughter Jesse (Violett Beane) from Zoom. The visual presentation of Earth-2 is absolutely remarkable, especially when we begin to see doppelganger...

While Barry lost his speed in a massive way, the follow-up was flat. In the nineteenth episode, Barry has to get used to being a normal guy again. The villain of the week is one of Bart Allen a.k.a. Impulse’s villains from the comics when Griffin Grey (Haig Sutherland) goes after, thinking it’s the Earth-1 Wells. Rather than take advantage of the d...

After seemingly being destroyed in the previous episode, the twenty-first installment of season two became an all-time favorite. Directed by the one and only Kevin Smith who is a big fan of the show; “The Runaway Dinosaur” serves as one of Barry’s pivotal hours in the whole series. Being stuck in the Speed Force, Barry goes on a journey where he ha...

While the show has had a few female speedsters, Trajectory was unfortunately not handled well as she made her live-action debut. In the sixteenth episode, titled after her, the series introduced an interesting take on Eliza Harmon (Allison Paige) but didn’t get to live past this episode. In addition to that, it didn’t make the show look good with w...

After a long season of preparing for his battle with Zoom, the two speedsters have their final showdown. As amazing as their last battle is, including Hunter being taken by the Time Wraiths and turned into Black Flash, it’s everything that follows their fight that we love the most. The man in the iron mask is revealed to be the real Jay Garrick, pl...

  3. The Flash is a pretty solid show. The details of the CSI work fade into the background as the show goes on. Get through the pilot and it will improve. It's the only CW DC hero shows left that I watch. This is the show that helped bridge the other dc shows into more than just the Arrowverse.
