He shud be Massively Hypersonic imo by scaling from Hellfire's explosive punch since the slowest detonation velocity of a gas based explosion is from ammonium nitrate iirc, but is still hypersonic. However, it might be faster judging by how big the explosion was when normal time resumed.
After the garou feat and knowing flash flash is WAY below garou in speed then it is fair to say low end of hypersonic- supersonic in speed. Anyone agree?
I always assumed in the webcomic it was Flashy Flash moving incredibly fast for 1 attack. In the manga, however, you can see mutliple hits being exchanged within the noted time. They are accelerating faster after each attack.

After receiving a letter of challenge, Flashy Flash splits up with Blast to meet with Speed-o'-Sound Sonic at the second location implied in the letter of challenge. This location is the place Sonic dreamed of putting his own ninja village, which had now become an illegal dumping site. Sonic and Flash square off, assuming mirrored combat positions....
Returning to the present, they engage in a fierce clash, their swords meeting just as they did years ago. Sonic pulls out a kunai and attempts to stab Flash, who counters by pushing his hand away and tries to stab him with his sword. Sonic evades the attack with a backflip and the two smile at each other. Sonic swiftly executes slashing maneuvers at Flash, who skillfully blocks each one before back flipping away. They exchange rapid sword swings, unable to land a hit on each other before being forced apart. In response, they charge at each other, each attempting Wind Blade Kick. Flash skillfully dodges and lands one of his ultimate techniques, Flash Kicks. Sonic is hit head-on by the attack and flies into a hill.
However, Sonic quickly recovers and retaliates by throwing 4 Exploding Shurikens, before charging at Flash with his sword and a kunai drawn. He darts past the high-speed shurikens and Flash himself, launching an attack that Flas barely blocks, before throwing 3 more Exploding Shurikens. Flash jumps high into the air in an attempt to evade the attack, but the shurikens begin homing onto him. Flash is hit head-on by the shurikens and is blown out of the air. Sonic proceeds to encircle Flash with his Nine Shadows Funeral, generating nine afterimages, each executing a Wind Blade Kick aimed right at Flash. Flash counters by slashing all the afterimages with his sword, only to discover that they are all fake. Sonic then attempts a sneak sword attack on him, but Flash barely blocks it with his sword. Flash winds up his arm as he unleashes another one of his ultimate techniques, Flash Fist. He relentlessly pummels Sonic with an onslaught of high-speed punches, creating a deep crater upon impact. Flash jumps back, standing as the victor. Seemingly tired and leaning on his sword, he commends Sonic for his strength, surprised by the need to employ his ultimate techniques. He praises Sonic's progress and acknowledges the impressive development of his skills.
The Heavenly Ninja Party's surprise attack on Flash abruptly ends their battle. Sonic rises from the impact of Flash's Flash Fist, sustaining minimal damage, and swiftly retaliates against one of the heavenly ninjas. Recognizing Sonic as a traitor, the Heavenly Ninja Party declares their intention to execute both Sonic and Flash. Sonic mentally com...
•In contrast to the manga, the fight lasted noticeably longer in the original webcomic.
•In the original webcomic, both Sonic and Flash used different techniques and the fight was different too, the only similarity is that the outcome of the fight is still the same.
1.One-Punch Man Webcomic; Chapter 116
Converting punches to distance, that means Flashy Flash can travel 13 m in 1 microsecond, or a millionth of a second. Light on the other hand can travel 299.792.458 meters per second, therefor it can travel 13 meters in ~0.04336 microseconds. That means light is roughly 434x faster than Flashy doing his Flashy Fist.
Maximum Speed Flash Kicks: Flashy Flash delivers numerous kicks using one leg at his fastest speed. He first uses this to test Blast's abilities, although the top hero is easily able to dodge the attack. Flowing Shadow Feet: Flashy Flash dashes forward at blinding speeds and delivers a powerful upward kick at his opponent. He first attempts to ...
