Jun 7, 2021 · To answer the question: yes, secondary school admissions will require a proof of address for 11+ to year 7 applicants. Additionally, if you wish to transfer schools during the academic year, you will still be required to provide proof of address.
If you contact your school/Uni they can issue you a “student certificate” which has proof of your name, what course you study and confirms your address! Other then that, bank statements, council tax letters or if you don’t pay council tax - your school/Uni provides a letter again to state that you’re in education and don’t need to pay it.

Feb 24, 2019 · Hypothetically, if you are applying to state 6th form (and therefore the application goes right to the school and not the council), and you put an address down as the home/permanent address, presumably the school checks - particularly when they are over subscribed.
