Plot. Subaru Natsuki is a NEET who is suddenly summoned to a fantasy-like world. Just after arriving, he is killed while trying to help a young half-elf he befriends, Emilia, who is a candidate to become the next ruler of the Kingdom of Lugunica, only to revive some hours in the past.

There's a chance of this. In the mean time all we can do is try and interpret Satella's decision making. Personally i subscribe to the notion that Satella tries to set points for Subaru that are before threats with the intention of Subaru walking away from threats, not facing them head on.
Natsuki Subaru (ナツキ・スバル) is the main protagonist of Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu. He is a former hikikomori that was transported to Lugunica through unknown means, being given the Authority which he calls "Return by Death" by Satella, and meeting the Royal Selection Candidate Emilia.

Feb 18, 2024 · You can watch the two seasons of Re: Zero first before moving on to the OVAs and ONAs of Re: Zero. The release order is the recommended watch order for this franchise. The two mini-anime shorts are irrelevant to the plot and can be skipped.
