In Section 2 of Component 1 , you will choose one of six questions and write an essay comparing two texts: one pre-1900 drama text and one pre-1900 poetry text.
All questions in Section 1 consist of two parts (a) and (b). Answer both parts of the question on the text you have studied. In Section 2, answer one question from a choice of six on the texts you have studied. Write your answer to each question on the Answer Booklet.
