Now that Destiny 2: Lightfall is here, we have a taste of the Exotic weapons and armor that you can strap on your Guardian to take into battle.
Lightfall brings three new Exotic weapons to Destiny 2, each of which you can unlock after completing the Lightfall campaign. Note some Exotic weapons aren't available until after the World's First race for the upcoming Root of Nightmares raid is completed.
Hold down the trigger of this Kinetic slot Strand Sidearm to mark targets within range and load a burst of bullets. When hip firing, projectiles track aggressively toward marked targets.
You can unlock Final Warning by finishing The Final Strand quest, which you can pick up from the Pouka Pond in the Hall of Heroes on Neomuna. This quest is currently locked behind unlocking all Strand fragments, which won't be available until after the Root of Nightmares raid is completed on March 10.
While holding the trigger, every fourth bullet of this Void Machine Gun becomes a heavy projectile that weakens targets on impact. Every fourth heavy projectile makes targets volatile on impact.
You need to complete the Unfinished Business quest to unlock Deterministic Chaos. You can start the quest in the Hall of Heroes after finishing the Lightfall campaign.
This Heavy slot Exotic Stasis Glaive fires a large ball of energy that locks onto nearby targets and freezes them.
You need to beat the Lightfall campaing before starting a questline to unlock the Winterbite.
Lightfall introduces six new Exotic armor pieces, two for each class. You can earn one per class by completing the Legendary Lightfall campaign. We have a detailed Lightfall campaign walkthrough to guide you through, regardless of if you're playing on Normal or Legendary difficulty.
The other Exotic armor piece for your class drops from completing Legend or Master Lost Sectors solo. You can find the Legend Lost Sector and its associated reward for the day through your Director. Replaying the Legendary campaign on the same character won't reward you the other Exotic armor piece for your character.
Cyrtarachne's Facade is an Exotic Hunter Helment with the Acrobat's Focus perk. With a Strand subclass equipped, using your grapple ability grants Woven Mail, which provides damage resistance for 10 seconds. This Exotic also reduces incoming flinch while Woven Mail is active, regardless of how you gain Woven Mail.
The Speedloader Slacks are Exotic Hunter legs with the Exotic perk Tight Fit. Dodging increases your reload speed, handling, and airborne effectiveness for you and nearby allies, and you can stack this buff up to five times. Dodging or defeating an enemy while you have the buff will grant an additional stack and refresh the timer.
Abeyant Leap are Exotic Titan boots with the Puppeteer's Control Exotic perk. With your Strand subclass and the Drengr's Lash aspect equipped, you spawn two additional Strand projectiles when using your Barricade.
