Rescue the Queen is the mainline quest to free Anora, King Cailan's wife, from Arl Howe at the Arl of Denerim's Estate. After completing Arl of Redcliffe and gathering the other allies, the Warden travels to Denerim with Arl Eamon Guerrin.
After Arl Eamon recovers: 1250 XP for curing Arl Eamon; If you accept Eamon's reward: 100 XP; Redcliffe Elite Shield; Champion specialization unlocked; Additionally, once Arl Eamon is cured you will receive either +1 spell/talent (as mage/warrior) or +1 skill (as rogue) if his offer of a reward is accepted.
Jun 7, 2024 · You can rescue Arl Eamon once you've completed Urn of Sacred Ashes main quest. Make sure that the ashes are in your inventory and return to [Redcliffe castle - Main floor] (M29, 5). Talk to Teagan here and give him the ashes. It won't take long before Arl Eamon is fully healed.
Jun 7, 2024 · You'll find out that the queen has been kidnapped and that is being held in Howe's mansion. Your job will be to rescue her. Leave Eamon's mansion by heading back to [Denerim - Market district] and then choose [Denerim - Arl of Denerim's Estate - Exterior] from the city map.
Anora and the rest of the companions will return to Arl Eamon's estate and tell him what happened. After waking up in Fort Drakon, The Warden has the option of either breaking out or waiting for rescue by friendly companions. Once free of the prison, it will be time to speak with Arl Eamon and Anora.
She'll tell you that the queen has been imprisoned by Arl Howe, and that she's worried that he might kill her and pin the deed on Arl Eamon. This will trigger the quest "Rescue the Queen," which is covered in the location entry for the Arl of Denerim's Estate.
