Nov 29, 2023 · If the TV you are watching YouView on supports Now, I suggest you watch on that if you want subtitles. If it doesn’t, a Roku Express, HD (£20) or 4K (£30) is an inexpensive way of getting Now with subtitles, plus loads of other apps you might enjoy
Oct 8, 2021 · If it hasn't you can probably get the TV to download it (e.g. Samsung TV's have a selectable library of apps). The app will probably support subtitles with no further ado. You will have to sign into NOW with the account you possess by virtue of your BT TV subscription.
You can find all of the Freeview channels from 001 to 250 and your BT subscribed channels from 300 to 550. To make it easier to find the channel you’re after, you can press to access the channels categories, when in the guide.

Find out what EE TV has to offer. This setting provides an audio narrative describing what's happening on the screen. You can tell which programmes have Audio Description by pressing the 'i' button on your remote control. You'll see 'AD' in the programme summary if there's Audio Description.
Turning on the sign language feature. You can turn this feature on by pressing the Home (or YouView) button on your remote then going to Settings > Accessibility & Language > Language & Subtitles. Select your preferred setting then go to Done.
Go to your homescreen and select Settings from the main menu. Select Subtitles, and then select On. You’ll see a tick to indicate subtitles are now turned on for all available movies and shows. You can also turn on closed captions for all available shows on the devices below.
