1 of 2 de Souza Institute offers five designations for nurses: de Souza Nurse Associate, de Souza Nurse, de Souza APN, de Souza Intern, and de Souza Scholar. Each de Souza designation is awarded to a nurse who has completed the de Souza Institute comprehensive learning pathway shown below.
To receive this Designation, you must: Obtain 4.0 credits by completing at least one course from each of the four domains of practice. Pass the Foundations in Oncology Nursing Practice (FONP) course or Cancer Care Basics (CANB) course or the Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy (PSCB) course.
