Oct 5, 2024 · Either get your boarding pass at the airport via the check-in counter or self-serve kiosks or download a mobile boarding pass to your phone ahead of time. In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps for each method to make your flight preparation easier.
Online check-in. Check in from 24 hours before your flight departs using Manage My Booking. Print, download or email your boarding pass. If you lose or forget your boarding pass, you can print it again at a check-in kiosk at the airport. Check in now.
When you get to the airport, you can either show your mobile boarding passes, or a printout of the PDF. That said, mobile boarding passes aren't available on all routes - if they're not available, you'll need to print the PDF.
Most airlines let you check in online, choose your seat and print your boarding pass about 24 hours before your flight. Visit your airline website for more information. If you've printed your boarding pass and aren't checking in a bag, you can go straight to security when you get to the airport.
- Start by checking in online. If you’ve upgraded to Premium, Extra Legroom seats or Extra Space seats, or chosen the Select Your Seat option, online check-in will open 14 days prior to your departure.
- Day-before bag drop. If your flight has a TOM flight number, your flight time is eligible, and you’re flying from Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Gatwick or Manchester, you can check your bags in on the day before you're due to fly.
- Self-service bag drop. If you’ve checked in online, your flight has a TOM or BY flight number and you’re flying from an eligible airport, you can head straight to the self-service bag drop kiosks when you arrive at the airport.
- No bags to check in? If you’re just taking hand luggage with you on your flight, and you’ve checked in online, you can make your way to security as soon as you arrive at the airport.
