Feb 8, 2022 · My Sky Go on WIndows 10 Laptop is not working. I have followed every troubleshooting suggestion on the wesbite and on SkyCommunity. When I run Sky Go app on the laptop the loading screen is there for about 30 seconds and then the app closes itself. I would appreciate any help @SkyHelp.

Feb 16, 2024 · I've been trying to resolve a problem where the Sky Go screen had gone to a smaller fixed size on the laptop and you couldn't expand it. This had happened after I'd tried the Windows Trouble Shooting and it had suggested running in Compatability Mode.
- Remove Ciscovideoguard and Reinstall Sky Go
- Close screen Capture Utilities
- Turn Off Firewalls
- Clean Boot Windows
A lot of users have said they’ve fixed Sky Go by thoroughly removing CiscoVideoGuard and reinstalling Sky Go. First, launch Run with the Windows key + R hotkey.Input ‘appwiz.cpl’ in Run’s Open box, and select the OKoption.First, select CiscoVideoGuard; and press the Uninstallbutton.Select the Yesoption.Screen capture utilities can stop Sky Go playing content. Make sure there aren’t any screenshot programs running by right-clicking the taskbar and selecting Task Manager.Select a screenshot utility on the Processes tab.Then press the End taskbutton to close the screenshot software.Firewalls don’t always mix so well with streaming service apps. To ensure Windows Defender Firewall isn’t blocking Sky Go, press the Windows key + S hotkey, which will open the search utility.Enter the keyword ‘firewall’ in the search box. Still works fine on my tablet, but would prefer the laptop version; and no, I don't have Cisco installed. I've read through all the replies on this issue going back many years, and the only advice I can see is remove and reinstall. Clearly this isn't working for most people.

Oct 1, 2018 · I have no problem using Sky Go on my Ipad but it won’t run at all on my laptop under Windows 10. The app seems to check for updates, then download them and then time out. I have tried to unisnstall and reiinstall.
