Dec 14, 2021 · This seems to have worked for some people, usually you have errors trying to get this to launch, and then errors fixing the crashes that come later if you're unlucky. It's just downloading a file and placing it in a directory to potentially fix the issue.

These things happen because Just Cause 2 uses the Direct3D 10 renderer, and several aspects of that cause issues with NVIDIA cards. However, after much testing, I've finally found the fix to all of this, and it's stupidly simple. Install DXVK.
