Both the Pre-School and Junior School enrolment process involves your child participating in an observation session. Years 3 and 7 – Up to 2.5 years prior to commencement date. Senior School applicants undertake an academic assessment.

Nearly 90% of our Year 12 entry is drawn from the school’s GCSE student roll. Each year, however, we accept a small number of students from other schools. Application Criteria. From September 2023, we shall be admitting 90 boys and girls as day students to Year 7. There are no boarding places available in Year 7 or 8. We admit 150 boys and girls each year at Year 9 (13+ age group), including 52 boarders.
IN-YEAR APPLICATIONS FOR YEAR 10 AND YEAR 11. Students wishing to make an In-Year Application for Years 10 and 11, should contact the the Admissions Team to check on availability of a place on 01580 711804 or email registrar@cranbrook.kent.sch.uk. Entry for these other year groups will also be assessed using a CAT4 test.
