Jan 23, 2024 · To configure anonymous meeting join for the organization. Go to the Teams admin center. In the left navigation, go to Meetings > Meeting settings. At the bottom of the page, click join from your browser. You will be directed to a new page. Click Allow to allow Zoom permission for your microphone and camera. Enter the name you want to use to join the meeting. (Optional) Enable Remember my name for future meetings. Click Join.

The lobby setting that allows an anonymous user, Everyone, (Teams meeting policy or meeting option). The 'People I invite' will not work and put the anonymous user in the lobby (if not signed in).
Jan 20, 2021 · In the Teams Admin Console go to Meetings-Meeting Policies and select the Global (org-wide default) policy. Located here: https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/policies/meetings. Under the Meeting Join and Lobby area there is a setting for "Anonymous users can join a meeting". Turn that on.
You can allow anonymous users to bypass the meeting lobby if desired - this is controlled by the event organiser. By default, anonymous users attending online meetings are always put into the lobby to prevent spamming of such meetings.
