When you create a contact, it’s placed in the All Contacts list. To help organize your contacts and make them easier to find, you can create additional lists.
To use Contacts on iCloud.com, you must be on a tablet or computer.
Lists are in alphabetical order, with All Contacts at the top of the list.
1.In Contacts on iCloud.com, click in the sidebar.
If you don’t see the sidebar, click .
2.Type a name for the list, then press Return or Enter.
You can add a contact to more than one list. Drag the contact to each list you want to add it to. When you drag a contact to a new list, it remains in the old list, unless you remove it.
•In Contacts on iCloud.com, select one or more contacts that you want to move, then drag them to a list in the sidebar on the left.
When you remove a contact from a list, it’s removed from that list only. It remains in the All Contacts list.
If you delete a contact from the All Contacts list, it’s deleted from all your devices that have Contacts turned on in iCloud settings.
1.In Contacts on iCloud.com, click the list that contains the contact you want to remove.
2.Click the contact, click at the top of the contacts list, then choose Delete Contact. Or click the contact, then press Delete on your keyboard.
When you delete a list, the contacts it contains remain in the All Contacts list.
•In Contacts on iCloud.com, hold your pointer over the list you want to delete, click , then click Delete List.
