Student may submit an application via CCC Apply here: CCPG Application: Cal Grant B. Eligibility determined by the CA Student Aid Commission. Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 units) per semester. Grant (Gift-Aid) Award amounts are determined by the school based on enrollment status.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) helps determine eligibility for: Federal Student Aid – grants, loans, and work-study. State Aid Programs – CA College Promise Grant, Cal Grant & Student Success Completion Grant. Our Federal School Code is 001282. FAFSA must be renewed annually.
Submit one of the following applications: Free Application for Federal Student Aid - FAFSA. California Dream Act Application - CADAA. CA College Promise Grant - CCPG. The Financial Aid Office helps SJCC students apply for and obtain funds from a variety of financial aid programs.
California College Promise Grant (CCPG) – waives enrollment fees for eligible students. Application is available online at www.sjcc.edu. Cal Grants B & C – Must submit the Cal Grant GPA Verification form and FAFSA by March 2nd or September 2 to be awarded for the following year.

The Cal Grant is a California-specific financial aid allocation that does not need to be paid back. Cal Grant applicants must apply using the FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application by the deadline and meet all eligibility, financial, and minimum GPA requirements of either program.
