If you’re at home, it’ll use your IP address. If you’re not keen on this, you can turn off your location history through the Your data in YouTube page.

You can find your YouTube search history from the My Activity page. From there, you can:View your search history
Search your search history to find a specific video
Clear your entire search history
Remove individual searches from search suggestions

A few notes to consider:Search entries you delete will no longer influence your recommendations.
Go to My Activity Next to the search that you want to delete, click Delete.
Go to My Activity Click Delete activity by… Choose the timeframe of the activity that you'd like to delete Click Delete at the bottom right of the pop-up.
Click Saving activity then click the On/Off button to turn off. This option will keep what you watch and search for from being saved, until search and watch history is re-enabled.
You can choose to delete your YouTube search and watch history automatically after a certain amount of time.

3. Under "History Settings" click YouTube History.
