Our academic program includes 10 taught lessons per subject each fortnight plus two sessions of supervised study. This fortnightly cycle puts the emphasis on teacher-led learning while allowing our students the structure to develop their own independent studying and progress.
As a selective school, we admit students on the basis of their academic performance in our day and boarding entrance exams. Students enter the school at Year 9 and join one of six parallel forms. They are placed by ability or previous experience in sets for Mathematics and a Modern Foreign Language.
