Riikka Kuittinen. Helsinki Olympic Stadium, stadium in Helsinki that was designed by architects Yrjö Lindegren and Toivo Jäntti. It was constructed between 1934 and 1938. The stadium is a landmark piece of Finnish Functionalist architecture. Lindegren and Jäntti won a competition to design the stadium in the 1930s.
