In my experience, yes, usually. If the mod is simple, use the Native preset. If it uses some of the Diplomacy features, use the Diplomacy preset, and if it's based on Brytenwalda (or you'rejust trying to modVking Conquest), use the Brytenwalda preset. But usually the Native preset should do.
As many know, TweakMB isn't updated now for a long time. Many mods who used to be compatible aren't anymore. Also, an even greater number of mods aren't compatible with it. That's why I would like to know which file I need to modify, and what to modify there, to get similar results.
Is it possible to use tweakmb having intalled warband through steam? the install/module files arent anywhere i can find.
I found a solution! First back up your item_kinds1.txt file from AWOIAF mod folder, and then copy item_kinds1.txt from Native to AWOIAF. Load AWOIAF under Brytenwalda 1.40, after you are done with tweakMB replace the current item_kinds1.txt with the backup.
As mods evolve, and TweakMB (last updated over 3 years ago) gets left in the dust, I'm left wanting something that... actually works. Now I end up with 2/3rds of the options unusable. Anyone know if there are any other programs like that?
