Mar 22, 2018 · Part of that is because the R1 is only controllable via your phone (Android or iOS), which uses WiFi to control it and thus is range limited. You’ll want to download the free app and get the drone all registered. It only takes a few moments to complete this process. If you haven’t done so yet, you’ll also need to charge the batteries.
