On the first offense, you will be unable to join the matchmaking queue for 6 minutes. For the second and following offenses, you will be unable to join the matchmaking queue for 15 minutes.
You still receive a loss but you won't be penalized for leaving. In overwatch 1 leaving a match wouldn't count in your placement matches not sure about overwatch 2 it may still count it.
