Playa de Canyamel is on Mallorca’s northeastern coast, approximately 10 km from the nearby towns of Artá and Capdepera. Mountains and forests surround the beach, and the Torrente Canyamel river joins the sea on the beach’s left side. The Coves d’Artà stalactite cave is a 15-minute walk from Canyamel, and a very playable golf course is nearby.

Jan 4, 2019 · Canyamel is a lovely quiet resort. It offers excellent beach, short walk to the caves d’arta that were amazing and some lovely restaurants. For a quiet, relaxed and foody holiday it was the best we’ve had; if you want bars, music, cafe food then this isn’t the place to come.
Canyamel has everything you need. It is located in the pretty town of Capdepera, in the tourist center of the same name; the beach offers all kinds of services and is ideal for families. The name has its origin, because in the 15th century this cultivation was introduced in the nearby fields.
