Oct 6, 2023 · The W3C has published the latest version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2), which adds nine success criteria and removes the Parsing criteria which has been declared obsolete.
WCAG 2.2 became a W3C Recommendation on 5 October 2023. [1] Nine new criteria make their definitive debut in this new version of the WCAG standard. New sections have also been introduced that detail aspects of the specification which may impact privacy and security.
The WCAG 2.2 design principles are supported by 13 guidelines. Each of these is broken down into specific requirements (or ‘success criteria’) that your service needs to meet.
