The Law Faculty offers both an undergraduate and a graduate law program, namely the combined Bachelor of Law (LLB) with a Bachelor in another discipline, and the graduate Juris Doctor (JD) program. After an extensive curriculum review, the Faculty introduced a new curriculum in 2013.
You can take a year or two off and work as a law clerk (or some other such job) and gain some experience then apply as a mature-aged student (like me! YAY!). Or you can apply to a similar diploma or degree with the same first-year units, then transfer across to your preferred degree.
The good news is that a Bachelor of Laws at UNSW is still a highly coveted degree and there’s a huge convergence of knowledge that comes with this program and a variety of other industries especially because it is a dual program.
